Every post-creation XP cost in the system, in plain "how much does this cost me" form.

How do I earn XP?

Up to 5 XP per session, split across five flat categories - the GM awards each independently, so a session can land anywhere from 0 to 5:

CategoryXPWhat it's for
Attendance / Participation1Showed up and played.
Good Roleplaying1Played the character well.
Heroism / Risk Faced1Took a real risk in character.
Learning / Discovery1Learned something significant about the character, plot, or world.
Standout Moment1GM's discretion - an especially memorable beat.

Story Awards: separate from the per-session cap - occasional larger lump-sum grants for completing a major arc, defeating a significant villain, or hitting a defined campaign milestone.

How much to raise an Attribute?

current rating × 9 XP

Raising an Attribute from, say, 5 to 6 costs 45 XP (the current rating before the raise). Also grants 1 free Sub-Stat point to split between that Attribute's two sub-stats, same as at creation.

Raising an Attribute costs the current rating times 9 XP - from 9 XP at rating 1 up to 81 XP at rating 9, going to 10.

How much to raise a Skill Tier?

current tier × 2 XP

Going from Trained (Tier 2) to Adept (Tier 3) costs 4 XP - the tier you're leaving, not the one you're entering.

Raising a Skill Tier costs the current tier times 2 XP - free from Untrained to Novice, up to 8 XP from Expert to Master.

How much to raise a Resource Level?

flat 3 XP per Level

Same price no matter what Level you're starting from.

How much for a new Boon?

How much for a new Gift, or to raise an existing one?

Acquiring a Gift for the first time (Level 0 → 1):

(7 − Limiters) XP, floored at 1

Plus any Adders bought in the same purchase, at their own cost (see below).

Raising a Gift you already have:

(current level × 5) − Limiters XP, floored at 1
Raising a Gift you already have costs the current level times 5 XP, before any Limiter discount - from 5 XP at Level 1 up to 20 XP going from Level 4 to 5.

Both formulas subtract 1 XP per Limiter the Gift carries, same discount shape as creation-time Gift pricing - just never below 1 XP no matter how many Limiters are stacked.

How much for a Gift Adder?

2× its creation-time point cost:

TierCreation costAdvancement (XP)
Lesser36
Greater612

Same price whether bought at acquisition or added later - Adders don't get more expensive with time, unlike Levels.

How much to buy off a Limiter?

3 × current Gift Level XP, per Limiter removed

Buying off one Limiter on a Gift currently at Level 4 costs 12 XP. Each stacked Limiter is priced and removed independently - buying off one doesn't affect what the others still cost.

Buying off one Limiter costs 3 times the Gift's current level in XP - 3 XP at Level 1 up to 15 XP at Level 5, per Limiter removed.

Priced at the moment a Limiter is bought off, using the Gift's Level right then - raising the Gift further afterward doesn't retroactively change what an already-removed Limiter cost.
